The 2008 motocross race season in Canada is right around the corner and many racers have already purchased their new KTM or are thinking about doing so after discovering the orange bike of their dreams at the KTM display in their local motorcycle trade show. To add to the many reasons why they would join our family, KTM Canada, Inc., is pleased to announce two exciting new motocross programs tailor-made for Canada: the 2008 KTM Canada Amateur / Pro Contingency and the 2008 KTM Canada Trackside Support Program.
2008 KTM Canada Amateur and Pro Contingency Program
Canadian motocross racers and KTM people share a common interest: a strong “Ready to Race” spirit. We all race with the same focus. We want to have lots of fun and win. But we all agree to say that a victory without an award does not taste the same.
Because we are extremely proud of the KTM amateur and pro racers who, every weekend, “bleed orange” and represent our brand, KTM Canada, Inc. is launching its first ever Amateur / Pro Contingency Program.
The process is simple: The racer registers his/her eligible KTM SX model* (see eligible list below) with KTM Canada, Inc. He/she places it in the top 5 of an eligible class at the end of an eligible motocross Series and he/she collects KTM contingency awards!
The main motocross Series in Canada are eligible for the KTM Contingency awards: Provincial and National CMRC (Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia), Provincial CMA (British Columbia), CMX (Ontario), Challenge Quebec (2008 Motovan Motocross Series in Quebec) and Alberta Old Timers Motocross.
The deadline to register for the program and submit the official registration form is May 31st, 2008.
* KTM SX 2007 or 2008 125 SX, 144 SX, 250 SX, 250 SX-F, 450 SX-F and 505 SX-F are eligible.
2008 KTM Canada Amateur and Pro MX Trackside Support Program
Q: What is more frustrating for the racers than being forced to end a day of racing because they need a spare part?
A: Knowing that if they would have been on the KTM they wanted, they could have got the missing part instantly from the KTM Factory rig parked at the track!
Operating out of the same semi truck as the Royal Distributing KTM Factory MX Racing Team, the new KTM Canada Amateur / Pro MX Trackside Support program offers trackside assistance to all levels of KTM racers at the nine CMRC MX National rounds and tentative National Amateur events such as:
the Eastern Amateur National in Sand Del Lee (Ontario), The Walton Transcan (Ontario) and the Western Amateur National in Raymond (Alberta).
The new KTM Canada Trackside Support Program will be backed up by our all new North American Parts and Accessories Distribution center. This multimillion dollar warehouse expansion adds over 60,000 sq. ft. of warehouse facility featuring 150% increase in shelving space for high turnover parts and 200% increase in bulk racking space for large sized items.
With a very wide range of SX machines and related HEQ accessories, a Contingency Program as competitive as the KTM racers, a new Trackside Support Program backed by our new expanded North American Parts Distribution Center and a strong Spring Retail Sales Program; KTM is definitely stepping up into the Canadian Amateur/Pro MX scene in 2008…in orange proportions!
The 2008 KTM Canada Contingency Program’s rules and registration form are now available on www.ktmcanada.com or at participating KTM authorized dealerships in Canada.
