Monster Energy's Tucker Hibbert wrapped up a very successful Canadian vacation, winning in Morden and Regina. Hibbert's moto scores were 1-1-2-1 and, believe it or not, he's in 7th overall in the series. Hibbert will now set his sights on the AMA nationals so we have someone to cheer for down south.

Clearbrook Yamaha's Kyle Beaton was the only rider able to steal a moto win away from Tucker Hibbert. Beaton holeshot and won the first moto, his first win of the season. Beaton was winning the second moto in the early going but swapped out and went off the track, crashing into a pile of rocks. He went to the hospital for x-rays looking for a possible broken lower leg but he's okay and should be 100 percent for Nanaimo. Yamaha has won every moto (MX1 and MX2) in the last two weekends.

Team Toyota Yamaha Blackfoot Fox Racing's Colton Facciotti swept yet another round. He has a perfect 150 points (he was forced to skip Gopher Dunes with a fractured collarbone) and is now only 17 points shy of Suzuki OTSFF Rockstar's Tyler Medaglia. Facciotti is one or two seconds a lap faster than his competition and he is able to maintain that pace, proving that his fitness level is impressive. The Canadian nationals take a break until July 13th in Nanaimo and you can bet that Medaglia and Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki's Dusty Klatt will be losing some sleep trying to figure out how to beat Colton.

Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki's Heidi Cooke is not used to getting beat on Canadian soil. Florida's Jacqueline Ross is proving to be strong in any situation, sand, hard pack, or mud. Cooke will be looking forward to eastern tracks like Walton where she shines.
MX2 Moto 1 notes:
-- Clearbrook Yamaha's Kyle Beaton grabbed the holeshot over Tucker Hibbert and Nick Evennou and led wire to wire. Hibbert recovered from a slide-out early in the moto to work his way back up to second and was right on Beaton for the last two laps but couldn't get by. Evennou would end up DNF'ing with a motor failure and Eric Nye settled into 3rd after getting passed by Hibbert. Evennou's teammate, Monster Energy/Thor/Leading Edge Kawasaki's Teddy Maier, was forced to sit out this weekend due to a leg injury he suffered last weekend at Morden. Maier tried riding practice but the pain was too great, so he's hoping to be back by Nanaimo or Edmonton.
MX 2 Moto 2 notes:
-- Kyle Beaton holeshot MX2 Moto 2 but went down hard and landed on a pile of rocks. Tucker Hibbert took over the lead and won the moto. Kyle is off to the hospital for x-rays on his leg but has full movement so it's hoped that the injury is not serious.
MX1 Moto 1 notes:
-- Team Toyota Yamaha BlackfootDirect Fox Racing's Colton Facciotti holeshot and gapped the pack, winning by 20 seconds. Suzuki OTSFF Rockstar's Tyler Medaglia was second in the early going followed by Dusty Klatt, who crashed and was only able to make it back up to 7th by the end. KTM's Jeff Northrop and Blair Morgan had a good battle and made their way up to Medaglia late in the race. Morgan was able to make the pass on Northrop and was inches from Medaglia at the finish. Despite a poor start, Machine Racing's Kyle Keast made his way up to 5th. Jimmy Nelson is out for the day with flu symptoms.
MX1 Moto 2 notes:
-- Colton Facciotti holeshot the second moto and checked out again. Simon Homans had another great ride today, moving into second early in the race and holding his own for the moto. Dusty Klatt pressured Homans at the end but Homans held on for second place and third overall for the day. Tyler Medaglia and Blair Morgan had a great battle, swapping paint a few times. Morgan got a flat tire and dropped back. Jeff Northrop went 4-4 on the day for fourth overall. Facciotti will gain 12 points on MX1 leader, Medaglia, and move into second overall, 17 points behind Medaglia.
