You can definitely tell we're in the Maritimes, check out the crowd that came out to watch Saturday practice! |

Apparently, training with Ryan Hughes is already paying off for Jeremy Medaglia. The Suzuki rider logged the fastest lap in MX2 practice today. Leading Edge Kawasaki's Nick Evennou sported a sweet open face helmet for the first lap of MX2 practice. The reduced wind resistance must have helped out as he was second quickest in the practice session. I had reported earlier in the week that Parker Allison(521) would not be making the trek out to Moncton but he managed to get his bike hauled out to Riverglade and was on the line next to his twin brother, Jared, for today's practice session. Parker was a tenth of second off his bro's best time, logging the 14th quickest time in MX2. Ryan Lockhart can always be counted on for a solid ride at his somewhat hometown race. The Newf was 5th quickest in MX2. Just like Evennou, goofing around seemed to work well for Dusty Klatt as this massive one-footer was a precursor to his logging of a lap that was almost 2 seconds quicker than anyone else in MX1. Another rider who is always fast at Riverglade is Mitch Cooke. Hopefully Mitch can turn things around with a breakout ride at his home race. Series points leader, Colton Facciotti, looked relaxed out on the Moncton track. He was third quickest in MX1. Label-It Honda's Jay Burke is back in action after missing two rounds with a broken hand. The Hamilton Hooligan was 12th quickest in MX1. Today also featured an autograph signing for this years Motocross Des Nations team. (L-R)Colton Facciotti, Tyler Medaglia, Dusty Klatt and Kyle Beaton were all on hand to sign posters. There are also Team Canada shirts and hats for sale so if you're around tomorrow, stop by and support the team.
